How to order a custom rod.

Contact Us either by phone or email to start an order. Within a day we will contact you to discuss the design of your new rod, restoration of old bamboo or repair to a rod. If you would like to design your rod, go to the Rod design page and follow the below steps.

Step 1: Choose your blank, based on the type of fishing you plan to use it for, including maker, color, length and line weight.

Step 2: Choose a reel seat/wood insert.

Step 3: Choose your guides and other hardware. We prefer to use Agate stripping guides as they ad to the beauty of the rod.

Step 4: Choose grip design and shape, along with matching thread wrap colors, and more...

We typically turn the cork grip in house from cork rings so just about any shape or color you can imagine can be made. We will use any guide type you request but we prefer well known brands.

On custom orders, the customer can be involved in any detail of the rod build, or let us make choices based on a coordinated color scheme. Often times customers will send us photos of  what they want so we can combine them to build the rod. You can always look through this website, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest or Etsy for inspiration.
